Funtime Pre-School
Our Pre-School facility was built and opened in 2007. It is the product of many years of experience, research, and design. It is just over 10,000 sq.ft. in size and no stone has been left unturned and no expense spared to ensure the safety of every child we serve. All electrical outlets are 48" above the floor, well out of reach of young children. Doors are equipped with magnetic locks controlled by keypad access to keep uninvited guests out and children in.
The building is constructed of non-combustible materials with an all-steel frame and metal studs, all-brick exterior, and metal roof. We have also added a fire sprinkler system which protects the entire building. All of these features make our facility virtually fire and storm proof. Our facility consist of 14 large themed classrooms and is equipped with over 20 video cameras which provide live streaming video viewable by parents via the internet. Trane air conditioners with special filters in every room ensure clean, fresh air is always circulating at Funtime. Also, classrooms are designed to meet ECERS* and ITERS** standards (much higher than Health Dept. standards), and are equipped with intercoms so teachers can quickly reach the office without taking their eyes off the children.
Our playground is well over an acre in size and shaded by large oak and pecan trees. This gives children plenty of room to run and play an endless number of games and activities. Our playground equipment is high quality professionally installed commercial equipment designed with safety as the top priority. A poured-in-place rubber flooring provides the highest level of safety to minimizes the risk of injuries. The entire playground is also regularly professionally treated for ants, poison ivy, and other outdoor undesirables. Children and parents love the never-ending variety of fun, healthy, and educational activities, as well as the safety, convenience, and friendly professionalism that can only be found at Funtime. Funtime After-School
Our After-School facility was expanded and totally renovated in 2013. It is just over 14,000 square feet in size and is the product of many years of experience, research, and design. A large wooden floor provides the perfect place, rain or shine, for skating and endless indoor games and activities! Our large seating areas allow snacks, lunch, and homework to flow smoothly, and provide excellent areas for small group activities. Safety has been designed into every aspect of our facilities, and our large, clean restrooms are second to none. Magnetic locks on our doors allow access only to parents and invited guests during childcare hours.
The building is constructed of non-combustible materials with an all-steel frame and metal studs, brick and metal exterior, and heavy gauge metal roof. We have also added a fire sprinkler system, which protects the entire building. We have made every effort to construct our building strong enough to stand up to any storm and to be virtually fire-proof.
Our After-School playground consist of a large equipment area with slides and swings, all of which meet or exceed Health Department Playground Safety Guidelines. We also have a large field perfect for soccer, kickball, football, and a variety of running games. Our playground is regularly treated, by professionals, for ants, poison ivy, and other outdoor undesirables. A large covered canopy with ceiling fans provides a cool outdoor area for hot days!
